A collection of poems–Hometown Memories, Madrigals, Twists and Turns, Sonnets, Remembering, and Over the Years. The poet, Professor Emerita-English, University of Wisconsin-Madison, founded an innovative Writing Lab and for a time was director of introductory English courses. Her teaching was recognized with awards by both the University of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Council of Teachers of English. From the time she was a college sophomore until now in her later years, she has been encouraged to write a book of poetry. She is finally fulfilling those suggestions with a selection quite different from what others would have expected and from what she could have done at any earlier time.
